Jason E. Sweeney

Jason also advises executors and trustees on the myriad of concerns that may arise surrounding the administration of estates and trusts. He is also developing an interest in charitable giving and the role that philanthropy can play in estate planning.

Jason has provided seminars and presentations for a number of community and industry associations on the subject of estate planning and is a member of various professional organizations including the Canadian Bar Association (Wills and Estates Section) and the Calgary Bar Association.

Born and raised in Saskatchewan, Jason also received his education at the University of Saskatchewan. He practiced for a number of years with a mid-sized firm followed by several years with a national trust company prior to his return to private practice. That varied experience is put to work in providing service to his clients.

Jason is married to Bonnie and is the proud father of his daughter, Grace. He spends his increasingly rare free time reading, listening to music, walking his dog, and thinking about learning to play the guitar.
